Last Affair Records
Last Affair Records was started by Daniel Littleton and Elizabeth Mitchell in 1999, as a way to document various Ida-related side projects and live recordings. Some of these are limited editions that have gone out of print, like the "Angel Hall" CD.

Last Affair Manifest-oh (1999)
- we will put out as many, or as few, records as we choose, when we choose
- we will put out recordings we love, regardless of "listenability" or "quality"
- we will not send out to press or radio, or give in to practicality (before you send us a demo, know that we will do nothing for you, even if we loved it. its a matter of principle)
- when possible (or desired), we will keep Last Affair releases "in print"
- we will determine and generate our own means of production (ie. ON-ME Sound)
- we are independent, straight up
- we will release only recordings we make or recordings we request from our friends. we will not accept or release unsolicited recordings (unless they are uncommonly brilliant and/or made by Sade, Keiji Haino, Pharoah Sanders, the late Arthur Russell, or by Ravi Shankar & Ali Akbar Khan, to name a few exceptions to this rule. The likelihood of such an event is, of course, commensurate to the possibility that we would put out somebody's mailed in tape, no offense)
- as often as possible, music will be recorded and/or mastered at ON-ME Sound, with the house band, when necessary (Dan & Liz)
- Last Affair Records is a strategic attempt to bypass the music industry as such and to integrate our ideas about art, business, and independence into a personalized, self-sufficient model. The world of contracts, lawyers, record labels, and other aberrant life forms will become utterly irrelevent, again-no offense.
- If this seems fantastical it is simply because you are amazed by the wrong people and under the spell of the puppetmasters and tastemakers. please find peace and openness in your heart and reject the system which dictates the norm. its your choice...
